A little about me:

I grew up on a ranch in Elk Grove, California. Horses have always been part of my life. I am most definitely a country girl. Green pastures and beautiful sunrises over the foothills of my backyard, still welcome me every morning. My family members, along with my fabulous friends, are an integral part of my life and have been a constant supportive force in encouraging me to write.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed writing short stories and poems. I’ve always known that I have a vivid imagination, but believed that everyone else did too. However, that is certainly not the case. In high school, I wrote short stories and poems for the Stylus Magazine. I’ve also written several children’s stories with moral-to-the-story endings.
In college, to supplement my Civil Engineering BS courses, my electives included English Literature, Classical Mythology, World Religion, Psychology, and Philosophy classes. After college, I studied additional world religion courses, and completed a 2 year program studying both the Old and New Testament of the Bible.

Christian and mythical elements are incorporated within my manuscripts, along with personal experiences. I can personally identify with being victimized. Having had firsthand experiences with crime, I have experienced the raw emotions of terror. Acknowledging that, I realized that if I could learn to put those emotions into words, perhaps I might have something worth reading.

My hope is that my wonderful world of creativity will continue to flow outward and that you as the reader will find my characters endearing and my stories memorable. Please see the Books section for a sneak peak!
As with any unpublished writer, I am in search of an Agent that believes in my dedication of producing attention-grabbing plots, well researched material, and exemplary themes that will make my books marketable. My greatest dream is to be a published author one day soon.
